Internet radio Alert!!! WASP!

Stinkor is listening to a fair bit of internet radio these days and I have decided to copy him. Rock/Metal radio of course is the only way to go. Once again the internet proves it's worth, it is almost impossible to hear heavy-rock/metal on UK radio stations but the net provides it 24 hours a day. Magic!
!!!Alert!!! One of Stinkor's most hated bands is on now: WASP. The Stinky one considers them to be hair-metal, I have to disagree. Although I only ever owned the first two WASP albums I loved them both and at their best they stood shoulder to shoulder with any 80's metal combo. But then Thrash-Metal was born and I was literally "Caught in a Mosh"! One of these days I will get those early WASP albums on CD and relive the joys of being "Blind in Texas"!
ROCK ON!!!

Dear Mr Claw,
I like very much your Blog but want to see more real music like Destiny's Child and my favorite, his Style Highness P-Diddy!!
I'd be giving your band too much credit by calling it math metal, although that's what it sounds like you want to be. (well math death-metal anyway)
Math Metal is a subgenre of heavy metal. It is characterized by a show of skill, changeable time signatures, and often dissonant or atonal guitar riffs. Math metal bands sometimes employ elements of jazz into their music, such as dynamic time signatures and drumming patterns. It use extended polyrhythmic passages, complex drum patterns, odd time signatures, smooth, melodic lead guitar solos, and harsh, atonal vocals. This hardcore subgenre is recognized for a high level of technical musicianship, currently pioneered by bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan and Converge. The music is usually filled with discordant, almost grindcore-inspired riffing, complex (or in some cases seemingly complex) time signatures and song structures, and usually indecipherable lyrics.
